Key Details:
Location: On-site in Glasgow or Edinburgh
Security Clearance: Must be SC clearable
Experience Level: 5+ years’ experience in embedded software testing
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute software test cases to verify embedded system requirements, ensuring full test coverage.
- Set up and manage test environments for hardware and software integration , supporting complex system validation.
- Plan and conduct software test campaigns , integrating real hardware with simulation and emulation tools.
- Develop and maintain test documentation , including test plans, reports, compliance records, and fault logs .
- Perform manual and automated testing in Linux and Windows environments, ensuring software reliability.
- Investigate and report defects, providing clear reproduction steps and root cause analysis to engineering teams.
